The Kite Pavilion is a temporary installation located in the Big Field at Dorothea Dix Park. A winning competition entry, the structure was designed by Clark Nexsen. The pavilion provides a destination in the vast expanse of the field, as well as shade and a place of reprieve in hot summer months.
