NCMA Entrance

Following an expansive park renovation, the NCMA wanted to improve their signage and appearance from the street. We designed and built a mechanical banner system to provide a “billboard” from Blue Ridge Road, visible from both the North and South. The entry sign was designed with the park’s aging groundskeeper in mind: a 1/2” wrench winds the banners up and down, so they can be interchanged easily at ground level. The structure is painted, hot rolled steel, with stainless steel mechanical components.
